September 2019 Seoul, South Korea
Mural as part of South Korea Walls mural festival in collaboration with World Wide Walls ( formally known as POW WOW Worldwide ) This mural was painted in the SEONGDONG-GU neighborhood.
The artist intended to create a painting using a minimal palette inspired by the Swedish term “Fika” which roughly translates to “ taking a coffee break with friends”. On the busy street filled with hustle and bustle, the mural is intended to quietly capture the eye and remind us of the importance of taking a break, enjoying life’s simple pleasures, and sharing time with those we care about.
